One of the unique benefits we have at Westbrook is having a Board of Directors who allows us to design curriculum and programs that are specific to the needs of our students.  It is not mandated through a bureaucracy, but is formulated through the hands of the teachers who are in the classrooms.  These teachers see their work as a “calling” and are passionate about their students.  With a biblically-based Christian world view, they instruct and challenge students to excel. 

Each year our school evaluates the effectiveness of the curriculum to ensure that we are keeping our students on track and fulfilling our mission.  Effectively using standardized test data helps towards developing teaching strategies and addressing areas of weakness for which instructional goals are set annually.

We are constantly watchful that our school is equipped to facilitate learning in this day and age.  For example, our students are benefited with the use of interactive white boards that not only present a world of opportunities online, but allow the convenience of teacher-instructed lessons even when the teacher is absent.
